Hankook Tire backs WRC Paraguay Rally

Hankook Tire & Technology announced Thursday that the Paraguay Rally, the 11th round of the 2026 World Rally Championship, is underway in the Encarnación region of Paraguay through Sunday (local time). Hankook Tire is the exclusive tire supplier for the FIA-sanctioned series, one of the world's premier motorsport competitions.

Paraguay joined the WRC calendar last year, becoming the fourth South American country to host a round after Argentina, Brazil and Chile, drawing strong interest from local motorsport fans. This year's event spans 358.99 kilometers across 22 special stages, featuring gravel tracks of red clay and sand mixed with dense forest roads — conditions that change rapidly depending on weather and repeated passes.

Hankook Tire is supplying its Dynapro R213 extreme all-conditions rally tire for the event. The Dynapro R213 is designed to absorb impacts on unpaved surfaces while delivering stable grip and precise handling at high speeds, allowing drivers to extract maximum performance from their vehicles.

The Dynapro R213 comes in two compound options — hard and soft — enabling strategic tire selection based on road conditions and race environment. It also features a high-strength casing structure and a refined tread pattern engineered to maintain stable performance under sudden load changes on varied unpaved surfaces.

In the drivers' championship standings, Elfyn Evans of the Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team leads with 201 points, with Sami Pajari 30 points behind.

Meanwhile, Hankook Tire has been expanding its global customer reach through a range of marketing activities, including its recent sponsorship of the 2026 London-Brighton EV Rally, the United Kingdom's largest electric vehicle festival.
