E-mart's 'Goraeit Festa' kicks off Thursday with up to 50% off food, Chuseok items

E-mart will hold its "Goraeit Festa" from Thursday through Sunday, offering a wide range of discounts on food, kitchenware and home appliances.

The event will feature in-season grapes at the lowest prices of the year, starting at 8,991 won. E-mart has prepared 200,000 boxes of Campbell grapes (1.5 kilograms per box) and Shine Muscat grapes (1.5 kilograms per box), sourced from major growing regions including Namwon in North Jeolla Province, Hwaseong and Ansan in Gyeonggi Province, and Gimcheon in North Gyeongsang Province.

Sinhwa pears (2 kilograms) and Changjo pears (2 kilograms) harvested in Naju, South Jeolla Province, are priced at 8,946 won. Fresh lotus root and sweet potatoes will be available at 6,984 won and 5,489 won, respectively. White cucumbers (packs of three), grown under contract in Gangwon Province and Gyeonggi Province, will be sold two packs for 4,980 won. Chilled pork back ribs (per 100 grams) will be discounted 50 percent with Shinsegae Points, and rice cake-wrapped handmade galbi patties (five pieces) will be sold at 20 percent off at the card promotional price.

Seafood is also on offer. Air-flown sliced salmon (per 100 grams) will be available for 3,340 won — half price — when customers accumulate Shinsegae Points and pay with a participating card, while live abalone (10 pieces) will be priced at 9,900 won. Cooking oils, sauces and kitchenware including frying pans will be discounted by up to 50 percent.

Home appliance deals are also plentiful. From Thursday through Monday, an LG Electronics super sale will offer discounted prices on models including the LG Objet WashTower and the LG Objet four-door refrigerator. Customers can also receive additional benefits worth up to 350,000 won — including Shinsegae gift certificates, E-mart digital coupons and Naver Pay points — based on their purchase amount.

Customers who visit twice during the event period and spend at least 100,000 won each visit will receive up to 15,000 e-money points. The Goraeit Festa will run simultaneously on SSG.com and E-mart Everyday. SSG.com's E-mart Mall will sell key Goraeit Festa products — including fresh and processed foods — at the same promotional prices as in-store.
