Zeekr launches private preview test drives for electric SUV 7X pre-order customers

Premium electric vehicle brand Zeekr announced Monday it is launching a private preview test-drive program for customers who have pre-ordered the 7X, a mid-size electric SUV and the brand's first model to go on sale in South Korea.

The program is open exclusively to customers who have already placed a pre-order for the 7X, giving them the chance to experience the vehicle's performance, interior space and electrification technology firsthand in real driving conditions.

Since pre-orders opened, the 7X has accumulated more than 1,500 reservations, reflecting strong interest from South Korean consumers.

Built on Zeekr's dedicated intelligent electric vehicle platform, the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture), the 7X features a 2,900-millimeter wheelbase that provides a spacious cabin and up to 539 liters of cargo capacity to meet a wide range of lifestyle needs.

In its top Ultra trim, the 7X produces a maximum output of 645 horsepower and peak torque of 72.4 kilogram-meters, enabling a 0-to-100 kilometers-per-hour sprint in 3.9 seconds. It also incorporates ultra-fast charging technology based on an 800-volt high-voltage system, and its Max trim achieves a Ministry of Environment-certified range of 483 kilometers on a single charge.

"The 7X is Zeekr's first model introduced to Korean customers, so we place great importance on giving them the opportunity to experience the vehicle's technology and quality directly," a Zeekr Korea official said. "We hope this private preview test-drive program will allow more customers to experience the luxury technology that Zeekr stands for."

Meanwhile, Zeekr Korea has been expanding its sales network in Seoul and the greater metropolitan area as part of a broader marketing push to grow its domestic customer base, recently opening Zeekr Gangdong Space and Zeekr Dongdaemun Space.
