Lotte Department Store said it is running a pop-up store called "Dessert Select-Son" on the first below-ground floor of Jamsil Lotte World Mall through Thursday.
The pop-up traces the history of K-dessert trends from 2000 to 2026, featuring a rotating cast of iconic sweets: Schneeballen (2012), the hammer-cracked pastry ball; retro favorite Mammoth Bread (2015); Injeolmi Cream Bread (2018); and Six-Clove Garlic Bread (2019). This year's trending "Wakppu Salt Bread" is also on offer.
"Dessert Select-Son" is operating as a sequential relay pop-up. After wrapping up at the flagship store, it moved to Jamsil Lotte World Mall, where it is currently running. It will then continue at the Incheon store from Sept. 26 through Oct. 8.
"Desserts are more than just food — they are a powerful medium for remembering the trends and everyday moments of their time," said Lim Hyeong-bin, head of Lotte Department Store's food and beverage division. "At World Mall and the Incheon store, we will offer domestic and international customers a distinctive K-gastronomy experience and joyful memories."
