Sung Sang-hyun passed away Monday at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital. He is survived by his wife Kang Kyung-ae; his children Sung Yeon-jin, construction and real estate desk chief at The Herald Business, and Sung Yeon-ju, graphic designer at NCsoft; his son-in-law Dong Jeong-min, political desk chief at Channel A; and his daughter-in-law Kim Na-rae. A funeral service will be held at Chapel No. 1 of Seoul St. Mary's Hospital funeral home, with the procession departing Thursday at 7:40 a.m. Burial will take place at the family plot in Naepo-ri, Munsan-eup, Paju.
