Lotte said Wednesday it will hold the 2026 Lotte Global Job Fair in Jakarta, Indonesia, with nine of its affiliates operating in the country taking part, including Lotte Chemical, Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart and Lotte Global Logistics.
The event will introduce Lotte Group and its affiliates' businesses to about 600 local job seekers, followed by recruitment consultations and mock interviews. Participating affiliates will also run promotional booths.
Lotte held its first global job fair in Hanoi, Vietnam, in August 2025. Indonesia is the second host country. Lotte first entered Indonesia in 2008 with Lotte Mart, and now has 12 affiliates operating there across retail, chemicals, logistics, IT and construction. Sales in Indonesia surpassed 2 trillion won ($1.49 billion) last year. The company currently employs 8,000 local staff and plans to hire 300 more by the end of the year.
"The global job fair is a place where local job seekers can explore the businesses and roles of various Lotte affiliates all at once and communicate directly with current employees," a Lotte official said. "We will continue to broaden our engagement with outstanding global talent through diverse recruitment activities."
