Hankook Tire from Wednesday, Hankook & Company from Sept. 23
Group seeks talent to lead global high-tech push
Hankook & Company Group said Wednesday that its operating holding company Hankook & Company and its affiliate Hankook Tire & Technology will each hold open recruitment drives for new hires in the second half of the year.
Hankook Tire will accept applications from Wednesday through Sept. 27 across 27 recruitment categories, including research and development, manufacturing and production, business support, and sales and marketing.
Hankook & Company will select new employees from Sept. 23 through Oct. 5 across seven recruitment categories in business support, safety and production technology, quality, and supply chain management.
Applicants must be graduates of four-year universities or higher, or students expected to graduate by February 2027, and must meet language proficiency requirements. International students are also eligible to apply.
The hiring process consists of document screening, an online aptitude test called HKAT, first- and second-round interviews, and a medical checkup. Final hires are expected to join the companies in January 2027.
To strengthen communication with prospective applicants, both companies will hold online and offline recruitment briefings and recruit participants in advance through the job information platform Catch.
Hankook Tire will hold an online briefing Thursday to explain the recruitment process and offer guidance on writing cover letters. On Sept. 18, it will run small-group job mentoring sessions with current employees from various departments at Catch Cafe's Sinchon branch.
Hankook & Company will hold an online briefing Monday, followed by an offline briefing Sept. 17 at Catch Cafe's Hyehwa branch. Recruiters and current employees will introduce recruitment and job details, and the offline session will also include job mentoring from current employees.
Hankook & Company Group said it operates a range of systems and programs built around its "Proactive Culture," aimed at helping every employee practice forward-thinking and self-directed action. The group said it plans to select candidates who embody its four core values — innovation, passion, globalization and collaboration — and actively support their growth into "proactive leaders" who will drive the company's future.
"Through this recruitment drive, we plan to select outstanding talent who will lead the global high-tech mobility industry," a Hankook & Company Group official said. "We hope that talented individuals with expertise and a spirit of challenge will demonstrate their capabilities and help drive the company's future growth."
