Audi Korea rolls out limited-edition A6 45 TFSI quattro S-line Black Edition

Audi Korea said Thursday it has launched the new Audi A6 45 TFSI quattro S-line Black Edition, adding a sportier design and upgraded premium features to the New Audi A6 lineup, the premium business sedan the automaker introduced in South Korea in April.

The Black Edition is a special model limited to 100 units in South Korea. Built on the existing A6 45 TFSI quattro, it adds a black exterior package, 21-inch Audi Sport wheels and red brake calipers to set it apart visually from the standard model.

The car also gains a carbon micro twill inlay, a vanadium package, a passenger display and a Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system, further rounding out its features.

The Black Edition's dedicated exterior package underscores its distinctive presence. Black and dark chrome accents appear on the side mirror housings, window moldings, Audi rings, door handles and tailpipes, while 21-inch Audi Sport multi-spoke twisted black metallic wheels and red brake calipers give the car a sportier, more dynamic look.

A switchable panoramic roof, matrix LED headlights and second-generation digital OLED tail lights combine sleek styling with advanced lighting technology. The exterior comes in seven colors, including Mythos Black metallic, completing the Black Edition's distinctive design.

Inside, a black headliner, carbon micro twill inlay and vanadium package create a sporty yet upscale atmosphere. A digital stage built around an 11.9-inch virtual cockpit plus, a 14.5-inch MMI touch display and a 10.9-inch passenger display delivers an intuitive, immersive digital experience. The Bang & Olufsen 3D premium sound system provides rich, three-dimensional audio. Comfort seats plus, soft-closing doors, four-zone automatic air conditioning and a power trunk come as standard, adding to passenger comfort.

The Black Edition is powered by a 1,984cc inline four-cylinder turbocharged fuel-injection (TFSI) gasoline engine paired with a seven-speed S tronic transmission, producing 271.9 horsepower and 40.79 kg·m of maximum torque. It accelerates from a stop to 100 kilometers per hour in 6.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 kph.

Standard features include adaptive cruise assist plus with lane-centering and lane-change assistance, a surround-view camera supporting 3D and 360-degree views, and park assist pro with remote parking assistance. The car also comes equipped with side assist, collision avoidance assist, front and rear cross-traffic assist, exit warning, and driver fatigue and inattention warning systems.

The Audi A6 45 TFSI quattro S-line Black Edition is priced at 94.9 million won ($70,800), including value-added tax and based on a 5 percent individual consumption tax rate.

Meanwhile, Audi Korea has been actively expanding its lineup to give local customers more choices, including the launch in July of upgraded versions of its premium sport utility vehicles, the Q5 and Q5 Sportback, with enhanced features.
