Stray Kids' Felix donates W300m on his birthday

Stray Kids member Felix marked his birthday Tuesday by donating to organizations supporting underprivileged children and disaster-affected communities at home and abroad.

According to his agency, JYP Entertainment, Felix donated 100 million won ($74,300) each to Samsung Medical Center and Seoul National University Children's Hospital, and 50 million won each to Books International and the Korean Committee for UNICEF — a total of 300 million won.

The funds will primarily go toward medical expenses for pediatric and adolescent cancer patients and children from vulnerable households. The donation to Books International will support the creation and production of native-language picture books for children in underserved communities, while the contribution through the Korean Committee for UNICEF will be directed toward emergency relief supplies and recovery efforts in areas hit by recent flooding in Nepal.

"I hope every child's day is filled not with worry but with bright hope," Felix said. "I sincerely wish this small gesture can be a warm source of strength for the precious todays and tomorrows of children everywhere."

Felix has consistently given back around his birthday each year. In 2024, he supported a clean water and sanitation project for children in Laos through UNICEF and sponsored a breakfast program for vulnerable children run by World Vision. On his birthday in 2025, he donated for children with serious illnesses and child caregivers. He has also joined fellow Stray Kids members in donating to wildfire recovery efforts in the Yeongnam region and to support Hong Kong fire victims, demonstrating a commitment to public causes in times of disaster.

Stray Kids continues to set records on the global stage, claiming the top spot on the Billboard 200 multiple times and cementing its standing as a leading act in K-pop. Felix in particular drives the group's commanding stage presence with his distinctive deep bass voice and intense performances. On Tuesday (local time), the group wrapped its second showing of the festival "STRAYCITY" in Buenos Aires, Argentina, continuing a successful run of South American dates on their world tour "RUN IT," the largest in the group's history.
