Incheon's Songdo International City will fill with jazz melodies this weekend as autumn breezes set in.
Tribowl, an arts venue operated by the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture, will host the 2026 Songdo Tribowl Jazz Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
Now in its 12th edition, the festival will bring together 14 top-tier acts from Korea and abroad, headlined by Eddie Gomez — the celebrated bassist from the Bill Evans Trio — alongside Jung Mi-jo, Jazz Park Big Band with Malo, Jeong Gi-go Quintet and Bump to Soul, among others.
Indoor venue tickets have already sold out, but festivalgoers who missed reservations can still enjoy the event.
Free, walk-in programs will be held at Tribowl's outdoor water stage, its lobby and on nearby streets, with no advance booking required.
The outdoor water stage will host performances against the backdrop of an autumn evening, and a 12-piece brass band called Hontoni will deliver a roving performance, playing as they move from the outdoor plaza to the main hall.
Inside the Tribowl lobby, Seoul Bossa Society will present an interactive bossa nova performance for visitors.
For those hoping to catch an indoor show, a limited number of walk-in seats and remaining tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the second-floor lobby starting one hour before each performance.
Beyond the music, the festival offers something for all the senses. A vinyl market and listening lounge will let visitors browse and buy rare records, and a free shaker-making workshop will also be on offer.
A food-and-beverage pop-up from Sheraton Grand Incheon Hotel and a lineup of food trucks will be on-site to keep appetites satisfied.
On Saturday, outdoor performances by Hakyung & Gypsy Dixie and the Na Hee-kyung Trio will also take place at Artpore, a commercial complex a five-minute walk from Tribowl.
Shoppers who spend 50,000 won ($37) or more at participating Artpore stores can present their receipt and a festival brochure to receive a 5,000-won Onnuri gift voucher, while supplies last.
