'We will actively continue administrative support needed for a smooth move-in and project progress'
Yangju city announced Wednesday that Mayor Jeong Deok-yeong met with Park Jeong-bu, chairman of Aseong Daiso Co., at city hall to discuss the company's move-in plans for the Eunnam General Industrial Complex, share the direction of future business expansion, and explore ways to cooperate for local economic revitalization.
The meeting covered strategies to ensure that corporate investment translates into tangible regional growth, including the hiring of local talent and cooperation with local businesses.
Yangju city expects Aseong Daiso's entry into the complex to create new jobs, boost local consumption, attract related businesses, and invigorate the logistics and retail industries — delivering a broad positive impact on the local economy.
"We will work to build a foundation that supports Daiso's continued business expansion through our move into the Yangju Eunnam General Industrial Complex, and we will make efforts to hire local talent and cooperate with local businesses so that we can grow together with the community," Park said.
Mayor Jeong said the city would "actively continue to provide the administrative support needed for a smooth move-in and project progress so that Aseong Daiso can grow together with Yangju."
