Beemyfriends, the operator of fandom business platform Bstage, said Thursday it has launched a "Grounding Pro-Am" service on its golf-dedicated platform Grounding, allowing users to play rounds alongside professional golfers.
The Grounding Pro-Am lets users select a professional golfer of their choice and arrange a round together. Twenty-one pros are participating in the program, including Im Min-guk, Moon Sung-mo, Ahn Ye-in, Kim Do-ha, Kim Hyung-sung and Hwang A-reum. After submitting an application, customers go through a consultation and payment process before coordinating schedules and venues with their chosen pro.
The service is open not only to individuals but also to companies and organizations for customer invitation events or VIP rounds. Grounding handles pro recruitment and scheduling, while events involving two or more pros or multiple groups are arranged through separate consultations.
Customers who book by Oct. 31 will receive a launch package that includes a meal with the pro, autographed merchandise and a commemorative photo session.
"We will expand the touchpoints where fans — both individual and corporate — can meet professionals, and broaden the possibilities of fandom business in the sports sector," said Seo Woo-seok, chief executive of Beemyfriends.
