Aekyung Industrial donates household goods worth W30m to South Chungcheong welfare center

Aekyung Industrial said it held a product donation ceremony Wednesday at the Jeongsan-myeon Community Welfare Center in Cheongyang-gun, South Chungcheong Province, distributing goods to every household in the township ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

The ceremony was attended by Park Hong-yeol, head of Aekyung Industrial's production division, and Jeongsan-myeon Chief Kim Su-dong, among others. A total of 2,000 units of the company's "Riqu Indoor Dry Ultra" laundry detergent, valued at about 30 million won ($22,200), were distributed to all households in Jeongsan-myeon. The donation was organized by Aekyung Industrial's Cheongyang factory to strengthen trust and ties with local residents.

"Going forward, we will continue to communicate openly and carry out a range of cooperative initiatives so that the Cheongyang factory can build trust with residents and grow together as a member of the local community," Park said.
