Korea Professional Golf Tour (KPGT) announced Thursday that it signed an agreement with Munyoung Group and tournament operator Golf T on Wednesday at the KPGA Building in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, to hold the 2027 KPGA MY Munyoung Winter Tour.
The 2027 KPGA MY Munyoung Winter Tour will consist of two tournaments with a combined purse of 200 million won ($146,000) — 100 million won per event — and will be held at Phoenix Gold Golf Bangkok in Bangkok, Thailand. The first tournament runs Feb. 15-19, 2027, and the second Feb. 22-26, 2027.
Under the agreement, Munyoung Group will serve as title sponsor of the KPGA Winter Tour for the second consecutive year, having first taken on the role last year. The KPGA Winter Tour, which launched in 2024, will be held for four consecutive years through next year.
"We will do our best to make this a stage where players can maintain their competitive edge during the winter and prepare for the next season," KPGT CEO Kim Won-seop said.
