Ji Sang-ryul on marriage rumors with Shin Bo-ram: 'I'm fine with it, but she may feel pressured'

Broadcaster Ji Sang-ryul has shared his candid thoughts on marriage rumors surrounding him and Shin Bo-ram, who is 16 years his junior.

Ji appeared as a guest on the YouTube channel Yangnakil Beonji on Wednesday, where he spoke openly about a range of topics.

During the episode, host Choi Yang-rak brought up the marriage rumors between Ji and Shin. Ji said the way people talk about it makes a wedding sound imminent. "I'm fine with it, but it could feel like a lot of pressure for Bo-ram," he said.

Choi then asked why the two did not simply set a date, to which Ji replied, "There are parents involved, and there's a process to go through."

The age gap between the two also came up. Ji noted the 16-year difference and said their Chinese zodiac signs — the dog and the tiger — are considered a good match. He added that many people who see photos of them together say they look well-suited for each other.

Meanwhile, Ji and shopping-channel host Shin Bo-ram went public with their relationship last year, despite their 16-year age gap. The two first met on the KBS2 program Salim Haneun Namjadeul Season 2.
