Actor Song Ji-hyo is taking a temporary break from her YouTube channel.
Song announced the hiatus Thursday in a video titled "To. Everyone who has loved Jihyo Ssong," posted on her YouTube channel.
"Today will be the last episode of Ssong Makase," she said. "But this isn't the end — I'm putting Ssong Makase and Jihyo Ssong on a brief hiatus."
She asked fans to be patient. "I'll come back with a stronger, more solid Jihyo Ssong — just give me a little time," she said.
Song also offered words of comfort to her production crew. "Let's not cry — this isn't goodbye," she said. "We're just taking a short break to come back better and more polished."
"I don't think of this as an ending," she added. "We started this, so we have to see it through."
She went on to say, "Does YouTube even have an ending? Shouldn't we keep going until we're gone from this world?"
The YouTube channel "Song Ji-hyo JIHYO SSONG," launched in September last year, currently has about 182,000 subscribers and 235 uploaded videos.
Song made her debut as a magazine cover model in 2001 and has since won a wide following through her acting career as well as SBS variety show "Running Man."
