Black Yak Kids launches 'Lightstep Pro' sneaker kids can put on and take off alone

Black Yak Kids announced Friday the launch of the Lightstep Pro, a functional dial-closure sneaker for children.

Building on the lightweight feel and comfort of the Lightstep Fly introduced in the spring-summer season, the new model adds enhanced heel stability. A Twist Control System supports the heel through the ankle to reduce twisting, while a Boa Fit System lets children put on and take off the shoes on their own with a simple dial adjustment.

The forefoot features Adapt Foam rebound cushioning to absorb ground impact. A functional outsole provides anti-slip grip, a memory foam insole conforms to the shape of the foot, and CDP Rip Keep mesh fabric improves breathability.

The shoe comes in beige and mint and is available in sizes 200 to 250 millimeters.
