Jeju Air runs aviation safety classes for children at Seoul event

Jeju Air said Sunday it operated an aviation safety experience classroom at the "2026 Seoul Safety Festival," a fire and disaster management bureau-organized event held at Yeouido Park from Thursday through Saturday.

The program is run by active cabin crew members who provide hands-on instruction to children aged 5 and older and teenagers, covering how to fasten a seatbelt, how to put on and operate an oxygen mask, how to use a life vest, and emergency evacuation procedures.

Jeju Air launched the aviation safety experience classroom in 2014 and, excluding the COVID-19 period, has provided aviation safety education to about 311,300 people over 11 years through last month.

Meanwhile, Jeju Air has been carrying out a range of corporate social responsibility activities, including hosting the awards ceremony for the 10th "Drawing the Sky Road" art competition, held at the National Aviation Museum in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, from Aug. 1 to Aug. 15.
