South Korea's men's basketball team claimed the Asian Games gold medal Sunday for the first time in 12 years.
The national team, led by coach Nikolajs Mazurs, defeated host Japan 67-57 in the final of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games at Aichi International Arena in Nagoya, Japan.
The victory marks South Korea's first Asian Games title since the 2014 Incheon Games and the country's fifth gold medal in the event overall.
