Lee Jae-yong takes helm of Daegu Urban Development Corp., vows innovation in operations and organization

Lee Jae-yong has been inaugurated as the 16th president of Daegu Urban Development Corp.

According to the corporation, Lee held an inauguration ceremony Friday at the main auditorium of its headquarters, with all employees in attendance.

In his inaugural address, Lee outlined three core priorities: project innovation, management innovation and organizational innovation.

"Through project and management innovation, we will identify new projects linked to Daegu city policy and strengthen financial soundness as well as AI and digital transformation," Lee said. "We will also build a culture of communication and collaboration through organizational innovation, and uphold integrity, fairness, safety and ESG as our core values."

After the ceremony, Lee visited each department in the building to greet employees and speak with staff.
