Subscribe and like Mapo-gu's official YouTube channel 'my Mapo' and submit your entry by Sept. 28
Mapo-gu is hosting a "Subscribe & Like" event on its official YouTube channel "my Mapo" through Sept. 28.
"my Mapo" has more than 52,000 subscribers — the largest following among YouTube channels run by Seoul's autonomous districts — and features videos covering the district's key policies, projects, events, lifestyle information and other content.
The event was organized to boost promotion of district affairs through YouTube and broaden communication with residents.
Participation is straightforward: subscribe to the "my Mapo" channel, watch a video of your choice and hit "like." Then take a screenshot showing both the subscription and the like, and submit it via an online Naver form to complete your entry. Anyone can participate regardless of where they live or how old they are.
On Oct. 2, the district will use an automated lottery program to select 50 winners. Mobile gift vouchers redeemable for a chicken set will be sent by text message to winners by Oct. 6.

"YouTube is an important communication channel through which residents can easily and enjoyably keep up with district news," Mapo-gu District Mayor Yoo Dong-kyun said. "We will continue to offer a wide variety of content that residents will find engaging and stay close to them online as well."
