Jacob Bridgeman of the United States claimed his second PGA Tour victory of the season ahead of his Presidents Cup debut.
Bridgeman fired a 10-under-par 61 in the final round of the Biltmore Championship — which carries a $5 million purse — at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove (par 71) in Asheville, North Carolina, on Monday (Korean Standard Time), carding one eagle and eight birdies.
Starting the final round in a tie for fifth, five strokes off the lead, Bridgeman completed a come-from-behind victory with a total score of 26-under-par 258.
Bridgeman, who won his first PGA Tour title at the Genesis Invitational in April, earned $900,000 for the victory.
He will represent the United States at the Presidents Cup, a team match-play event between the US and an International squad, which opens Thursday (local time).
Fellow US team member Jackson Koivun finished in a tie for fifth at 21-under-par 263. On the International side, Corey Conners of Canada tied for 43rd at 12-under-par 272, while Nick Taylor, also of Canada, tied for 57th at 10-under-par 274.
