LG Uplus has completed an overseas program giving content creators a firsthand look at global production environments, selecting 12 top members of its U+BOOSTUS creator community for the trip as part of its commitment to supporting creator growth.

LG Uplus announced Monday that it had taken the 12 top U+BOOSTUS members to Tokyo for a program designed to immerse them in a global content production environment.

U+BOOSTUS is LG Uplus's creator community program, which has been running since 2023. Participating creators experience LG Uplus products and services and then introduce them on their own channels. About 260 creators are currently active in the community, and they have produced roughly 4,700 pieces of content to date, accumulating approximately 150 million views in total.

LG Uplus supports creators through a range of platform experiences, education sessions and networking programs.

The Tokyo program was designed to sharpen participants' content competitiveness and deepen their understanding of global platforms. The itinerary included a content production workshop at Meta's local office and sessions on global creator trends.

The workshop covered content planning and production methods, platform utilization strategies and content distribution approaches. Participants examined trends gaining traction on global platforms and exchanged ideas and production know-how on applying those insights to their own creator work.

A hands-on session with the latest devices was also part of the program. Participants explored how to plan, shoot and produce content using new hardware including Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and the Quest headset. A networking segment gave participants the chance to share experiences and production tips with one another.

In addition, participants used LG Uplus's roaming services — including ixio Roaming Call and Roaming Pass — during their stay in Tokyo, experiencing the products firsthand.

"U+BOOSTUS is a community where creators experience LG Uplus products and services through the eyes of customers and convey them in their own voice and perspective," said Kim Hee-jin, head of LG Uplus's brand marketing team. "We will continue to expand education and collaboration opportunities so that creators can keep building their creative capabilities."
