Air Premia to launch Incheon–Sapporo route in December

Air Premia announced Monday it will launch a new route between Incheon and Sapporo, Japan, beginning Dec. 2.

The carrier will operate the route four times a week using a Boeing 787-9 with more than 300 seats.

Flights will run on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The outbound service departs Incheon at 9:40 a.m. and arrives at New Chitose Airport at 12:20 p.m., while the return flight leaves Sapporo at 1:45 p.m. and arrives in Incheon at 5:15 p.m.

Sapporo draws travelers year-round — in winter for its snow scenery, skiing and hot springs, and in summer for its cool climate and natural landscapes.

Air Premia said it will offer two cabin classes on the route: Wide Premium, which features spacious seating, a dedicated check-in counter and priority service, and Economy. Passengers in all classes will have access to the in-flight entertainment system and charging ports.

To mark the launch, the airline is offering promotional benefits for customers who purchase tickets between 10 a.m. Monday and Sept. 30. Tickets bought through the Air Premia website or mobile app during that period are eligible for a 5 percent discount using the code "CTSNEW5" in both Economy and Wide Premium.

With the discount applied, the lowest round-trip fares start at 514,450 won ($372) for Economy and 762,400 won for Wide Premium. The travel window runs from Dec. 2 through Feb. 28, 2027, with no blackout dates.

The airline is also offering a separate benefit for app users: customers who install the Air Premia app can purchase an eSIM for use at their destination at up to 30 percent off.

"We prepared this promotion so that customers planning a winter trip to Sapporo can purchase tickets at a more reasonable price," an Air Premia official said. "We hope passengers enjoy a comfortable and pleasant flight with Air Premia."

Meanwhile, Air Premia has been expanding customer convenience services. Since Tuesday, the airline has operated a self-bag-drop service for international passengers at Incheon International Airport, allowing travelers who have completed check-in to deposit their luggage without staff assistance.
