Seventeen's Jun to star in Chinese film 'Zhongsheng 2,' opening next month

Jun, the Chinese member of K-pop group Seventeen, will appear in the Chinese film "Zhongsheng 2," which opens in China on Oct. 3, his agency Pledis Entertainment said Monday.

The film follows a male and female lead as they unravel a criminal organization's conspiracy and seek revenge, according to Yonhap.

Jun plays Su Cheng, the male lead who travels from place to place in search of his missing younger sibling. He stars alongside Liang Luoshi, an actor known for appearing in "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor."

The film also features Hong Kong star Sammo Hung and Bai Ke, an actor known for his distinctive performances.

Jun attended the opening ceremony of the 13th Silk Road International Film Festival, held in Xi'an, China, on Saturday and Sunday, as an overseas promotional ambassador.
