Lotte Mart to hold 23-day toy festival with up to 50% off Hello Carbot

Lotte Mart Toysrus will hold its "Happy Toysrus Day" event from Saturday through Oct. 11, the retailer said. The sale, timed to coincide with the Lunar New Year and chuseok holidays, marks the longest run of the event to date.

More than 260 Lego products will be discounted by up to 40 percent. The Hello Carbot and Pokémon series will be marked down by up to 50 percent and 30 percent, respectively. The Hello Carbot Hyper Buildian All-Star set will be available at half price — 94,000 won ($68) — for L.Point members, while the Pokémon Transform Brave Dam Cheongho Special Edition will be sold at a discounted price of 40,000 won. New products from the Mimi World, Sylvanian Families and Catch! Teenieping lines will also be on offer.

Products from board game brand Korea Boardgames will be discounted by 30 percent, with La Cucaracha priced at 48,230 won and Shark Island at 23,030 won. The Toysrus Giheung branch will host a Korea Boardgames Play Store pop-up from Thursday through Oct. 7.

The electronics gaming section will offer up to 15,000 won off 40 Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 titles, including "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" and "Animal Crossing: New Horizons." Customers who purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 console together with a carrying case will receive an additional 20,000 won discount.

During the event period, members who spend 70,000 won or more using a participating card at Toysrus Mall or Lotte Mart Zeta will receive an extra 10,000 won discount on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers who spend 30,000 won or more on toys at Toysrus between Monday and Wednesday will also receive a Lotte Mart discount coupon.
