President Lee Jae Myung presented an appointment certificate to new Supreme Court Justice Kim Sung-su and conferred a state decoration on retired Justice Lee Heung-gu at Cheong Wa Dae on Monday.
Cheong Wa Dae Chief Spokesperson Kang Yu-jung said in a written briefing that the president held the ceremony at 10 a.m. in the main reception hall of the Cheong Wa Dae main building.
After the ceremony, Lee held a tea meeting with Chief Justice Jo Hee-dae, former Justice Lee and Justice Kim, all of whom attended the event.
