Osstemimplant unveils 'New KS 3' implant line at Europe's top dental congress

Osstemimplant is set to make the global debut of a next-generation implant lineup at Europe's largest implant congress as the company pushes to expand its foothold in the region.

Osstemimplant announced Tuesday that it will participate in EAO Congress Lisbon 2026, running from Thursday through Saturday in Lisbon, Portugal, where it will unveil its new implant line, New KS 3, to international markets for the first time.

Now in its 33rd edition, the EAO Congress is the most prestigious international academic event in implant dentistry, organized by the European Association for Osseointegration. About 230 companies from roughly 80 countries are expected to participate, drawing more than 3,500 attendees. Osstemimplant, the first Asian company to secure the EAO's top-tier Diamond sponsorship, will operate its largest-ever booth at 85 square meters.

Making its global premiere at the event, New KS 3 is a next-generation implant designed for high-difficulty clinical conditions such as immediate post-extraction placement and soft bone quality. The product features a full-taper design that narrows toward the base, a deep-thread spiral structure, and a precision apex design — all aimed at achieving strong primary stability and improving success rates for immediate loading procedures.

Osstemimplant will run hands-on training sessions and an industry forum for local dentists featuring New KS 3, and plans to build early product familiarity among junior European dentists through "My First Implant," a session exclusive to Diamond sponsors.

In addition, the company will display its KS and TS implant lineups, a digital guided surgery system, and guided bone regeneration products, all certified under CE MDR — the EU's enhanced medical device regulation. The booth will also feature a K-food catering zone serving traditional Korean refreshments such as yakgwa (honey cookies) and sikhye (sweet rice drink) to strengthen brand affinity.

"We will directly demonstrate the superior primary stability and innovative technology of New KS 3 to European clinicians, further solidifying our share in the global market," a company official said.

Through the event, Osstemimplant aims to build brand credibility within the conservative European dental community by leading with its full-cycle solutions backed by rigorous CE MDR certification, while accelerating market share expansion in advanced markets with its new product tailored for complex procedures.
