SSG.com launches 'Super Moon Festa' for last-minute chuseok shoppers

SSG.com will run its "Super Moon Festa" from Thursday through Sunday, offering a curated selection of lifestyle gift products ahead of chuseok.

Fashion and beauty products will lead the sale. Adidas running shoes will be discounted 44 percent, while K2 goose-down jackets and Kolon Sport lightweight outerwear will be marked down 30 percent and 37 percent, respectively. Estée Lauder cosmetics will also be available at reduced prices.

In home appliances and living goods, LG Electronics robot vacuum cleaners and Nespresso capsule coffee machines will each be discounted 20 percent. Bedding and kitchenware will also be offered at special prices.

The promotion will include a range of gift certificates — among them SSG gift cards that require no delivery wait — as well as dining vouchers for Joseon Hotel Aria.

Unlimited 7 percent discount coupons for Shinsegae Mall will be available throughout the event. Shinsegae Department Store Mall coupons of the same value will be limited to one per account.

"We have carefully selected products from popular brands and easy-to-give gift items for customers who have yet to prepare their chuseok gifts," an SSG.com official said. "We hope shoppers can find a wide variety of gifts at reasonable prices."
