Nongshim to exclusively supply ramyun to Korean Air lounge's 'Ramyun Library' at Incheon airport

Nongshim said Wednesday it will exclusively supply 21 varieties of its ramyun, including Shin Ramyun, to the Ramyun Library at the Korean Air lounge in Incheon International Airport.

The Ramyun Library, newly expanded inside the Korean Air Prestige Class east lounge at Incheon International Airport's Terminal 2, is a dedicated space where travelers can choose from a wide selection of Nongshim ramyun and cook it on the spot.

The lineup features 21 of Nongshim's signature products, including multiple Shin Ramyun varieties — Shin Ramyun, Shin Ramyun Black and Shin Ramyun Toomba — alongside Chapagetti, Neoguri and Anseong Tangmyun. The selection also includes Shin Ramyun Halal, which carries halal certification, and Soon Ramyun, a vegan option, broadening the range of choices available to visitors.

Guests can select their preferred ramyun from a vending machine at the lounge and cook it themselves using an instant cooker on site. Toppings — including kimchi, green onions and bean sprouts — are also provided so visitors can customize their bowl as they like.

Nongshim already supplies Shin Ramyun as an in-flight meal on Korean Air and plans to expand its reach among global consumers through the lounge partnership, which serves more than 1.31 million visitors a year.

"Ramyun has recently been gaining recognition as a leading K-food, and its profile is rising across a range of travel-related settings — on planes, at airports and in duty-free shops," a Nongshim official said. "Through this collaboration with the Korean Air lounge, we want global consumers to personally choose and enjoy a variety of Nongshim ramyun and fully experience the appeal of K-ramyun."
