Actor Ko So-young, born in 1972, reveals she received a senior discount: 'It hit me hard'

Actor Ko So-young has shared a story about the time she received a senior citizen discount.

A video titled "What happens when Ko So-young, who thought hanbok didn't suit her, visits the Korean Folk Village" was posted Tuesday on her YouTube channel.

The video showed Ko visiting the Korean Folk Village for chuseok, dressed in a hanbok with a modern twist.

Ko recalled memories of the venue, saying, "I came here when I was young — in middle school and high school."

After checking the adult admission price at the ticket booth, she exclaimed, "That's really expensive." She then looked at the senior discount criteria — available to those 65 and older — and quipped, "65 is still a long way off," drawing laughter.

Ko then shared a past experience at an aquarium, saying, "I went to some aquarium — I think it was in Jeju Island — and they gave a discount starting from people born in 1972. It hit me hard."

Ko was born in 1972 and is currently 53 years old. She married actor Jang Dong-gun in May 2010 and has one son and one daughter.
