Pregnant comedian Kim Ji-min pranks dishwashing husband with luxury gift box — filled with a scrubber

Comedian Kim Ji-min, who is expecting a baby early next year, surprised her husband Kim Jun-ho with a special gift while he was doing the dishes.

Kim Ji-min posted a video on her Instagram account Thursday with the caption, "Express your gratitude to the person beside you."

In the clip, Kim Jun-ho is seen washing plates at the kitchen sink. Kim Ji-min keeps handing him more dishes to clean, and the video includes a caption thanking him — "Jun-ho, who always does the dishes."

Then, instead of another plate, she hands him a box bearing the logo of a luxury brand. Kim Jun-ho breaks into a surprised smile, visibly delighted.

"You went to the department store not long ago and said you didn't buy anything — I've never gotten anything like this before," he said, his excitement building.

But inside the box was not a luxury item — it was a kitchen scrubber. Kim Jun-ho laughed in disbelief, asking, "What is this? A scrubber?" Kim Ji-min added a subtitle to the video: "I can't even begin to imagine how touched he must have been."

The couple's playful banter drew a flood of comments, including "So funny," "Perfect husband" and "Such a fun and cheerful couple."

Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min married in July 2025.

On July 30, Kim Ji-min announced her pregnancy on Instagram, writing, "We've become the trio we always dreamed of" and "A precious life has found its way to my small belly."

"Durubi came to us on the very first try, as if waiting just for this moment — I'm so grateful," she wrote, using a nickname for the baby. "So many people have been asking, and the reason I — someone who is usually not great at keeping secrets — managed to stay quiet all this time was entirely thanks to Durubi."

Kim Jun-ho made his entertainment debut as a fifth-round SBS recruit comedian. Kim Ji-min debuted as a 21st-round KBS recruit comedian.
