Battle Drift Kart and Sky Glider added as park launches full operations Friday
Korea's largest indoor adventure sports complex features Asia's biggest indoor kart track
Nowon-gu in Seoul will expand the offerings at its district-run adventure theme park Jump and launch full operations Friday, making it the largest indoor adventure sports complex in the country.
The facility, located at 102 Hangeulbiseok-ro in Hagye-dong — across from an energy-zero housing complex — spans a total floor area of 8,612 square meters across two above-ground floors. Designed as an all-weather, year-round leisure destination, it offers indoor activities regardless of the season.
The complex is divided into six zones: a Ride Zone, Adventure Zone, Survival Zone, Arcade Zone, RC Play Zone and Kids Ground Zone, catering to a range of ages and interests.
Two new attractions debut in the Ride Zone with the grand opening. The Battle Drift Kart sends riders along an approximately 380-meter indoor track that climbs and descends to heights equivalent to a three-story building, using the facility's high interior ceilings to deliver the speed and cornering of a four-wheel kart — making it Asia's largest indoor kart track. The Sky Glider lets visitors zip along a 210-meter aerial rail course suspended overhead.
The Adventure Zone draws those seeking more active thrills. It features Sky Trail, an aerial obstacle course three stories high with 39 challenges; Clip 'n Climb, an indoor artificial climbing wall rising up to 11 meters with 29 themed routes; and Net Play, an aerial rope-net playground.
Beyond those, Jump offers laser-tag survival games, interactive sports games that respond to body movements, RC heavy-equipment and mini-car driving attractions, and a Kids Ground area for children under 120 centimeters in height — giving visitors of every personality and preference something to enjoy.
Rest areas including a terrace and private party rooms are available for visitors. A food lounge seating 400 serves hansik, Western cuisine, fast food, Korean snacks, baked goods and coffee. The space is also configured to accommodate group visits such as school field trips.
Before the grand opening, Jump conducted a soft launch with all zones except the Ride Zone open to the public, followed by installation of additional structures and safety verification. Even after the official opening, the park plans to consistently inspect and maintain safety equipment meeting international standards, with dedicated safety personnel on site.
The park operates daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., except on seollal and chuseok. Safety regulations, entry restrictions, ticket reservations and detailed information are available on the official website.
Nowon-gu District Mayor Seo Jun-o said the facility had been "a near-impossible challenge for a basic local government to pull off, both in scale and content quality," adding that he hopes "every child, teenager and adult who visits Jump will find thrilling fun and a sense of accomplishment."
