HRD Korea, Korea Housing Finance Corporation to jointly research AI audit techniques

HRD Korea and the Korea Housing Finance Corporation will jointly research audit techniques using artificial intelligence.

HRD Korea announced Tuesday that the two organizations signed an audit cooperation agreement at the Korea Housing Finance Corporation's headquarters in Nam-gu, Busan, to strengthen collaboration between their internal audit bodies. Under the agreement, the two institutions plan to jointly research AI-based audit methods and environmental, social and governance audit techniques, while also sharing ESG audit case studies, as part of efforts to strengthen their internal control systems.

"We will proactively respond to the rapidly changing audit environment, including AI, and reinforce our internal control framework," said Kwon Tong-il, standing auditor at HRD Korea.
