Joa Pharmaceutical has launched Jalcton S Plus, a new health functional food for growing children.
Designed for balanced nutritional management, Jalcton S Plus contains magnesium, zinc, niacin, vitamin B2 and vitamin B6. The product has received functional recognition for energy production, normal immune function and the maintenance of nerve and muscle function.
It also incorporates a balanced blend of secondary ingredients including betaine, inositol, L-lysine, L-arginine, L-aspartic acid, salmon milt extract, pineapple extract powder, vitamin B1 and vitamin B12, the company said. The supplement is taken once daily as a single ampoule and is available at pharmacies.
The product uses Joa Pharmaceutical's patented Joa Sepi Ampoule container, which enhances safety, portability and ease of consumption. The ampoule is made with a Class VI material — the highest safety rating under the United States Pharmacopeia — and holds patents in 32 countries, including South Korea, the United States, European nations and Japan.
"Jalcton, which marks its 20th year on the market this year, has surpassed cumulative sales of 10.55 million units as of August," the company said. "We will expand the Jalcton product line to offer consumers a wider range of choices."
