Jeep has teamed up with KLPGA Tour professional Seong Yu-jin.
The automaker named Seong its ambassador for the new Grand Cherokee L and delivered the first unit sold in South Korea to her at its Ilsan showroom on Monday, Jeep announced Wednesday. Seong will use the vehicle for one year and participate in various brand activities during that time.
Seong drove a Grand Cherokee during her time on the LPGA Tour. "I have fond memories of driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee on the LPGA Tour and putting up a lot of good results," she said, adding that she was looking forward to reconnecting with the brand through the new model.
Seong joined the KLPGA in 2018 and has recorded four career victories on the regular tour, including one major title. She currently plays for Daebang Construction and finished runner-up at this year's High1 Resort Women's Open.
