Ourhome, Gourmet d'Galeria open recruitment for nutritionists, cooks

Ourhome announced Wednesday it will hold open recruitment for entry-level nutritionists and cooks in the second half of the year.

The company is hiring for two roles — nutritionist and cook — with both Ourhome and its affiliate Gourmet d'Galeria each taking on double-digit numbers of new staff. Successful candidates will join as full-time employees, undergo a three-month probationary period before being assigned to individual worksites, and receive full pay throughout.

Applicants must be graduates or expected graduates by February 2027 and available to start work on Dec. 21. They must also have no restrictions on overseas travel and hold at least one culinary technician certificate in hansik (Korean), Western, Chinese or Japanese cuisine.

The nutritionist role is open to applicants who majored in food and nutrition and hold a nutritionist license or are scheduled to sit the licensing exam in December 2026. The cook role is open to applicants who majored in culinary arts or a related field.

Applications will be accepted from Thursday through Oct. 19 at 3 p.m. via the recruitment websites of Ourhome and Gourmet d'Galeria respectively. The expected start date for successful candidates is Dec. 21.

On Oct. 13, Ourhome will host a recruitment information session at its headquarters for nutritionist applicants. Thirty participants will be selected from advance registrants for a program that includes a company and job overview, a headquarters tour, conversations with current employees, and job-search tips from recruiters.

"We will support new employees in growing into specialized professionals in the food and beverage industry through role-specific recruitment programs and systematic training," an Ourhome official said.
