Heo Chang-il, 92, died Wednesday at Samsung Medical Center. He is survived by his spouse Ham Jeong-ok; children Heo Hyeong-beom, Gyeongju, Gyeong-hui and Gyeong-mi; sons-in-law Lee Jun-hui, Ryu Nam-hyun, vice chairman of PharmGen Science, and Kim Hong-sik; and daughter-in-law Han So-yeong. The funeral is being held at Samsung Medical Center funeral hall, Room 15. The procession departs Oct. 2 at 7:15 a.m., with interment at Seoul Memorial Park. Tel. 02-3410-6915.
