Anyang honors top civil servants for Q3 public service

Anyang held a meeting Wednesday with its top-rated civil servants of the third quarter, the city announced Thursday.

Three civil servants were named "Best Courteous Civil Servant": Nam Hyeon-u of Bisan 3-dong, Kwon Ji-hee of the Manan-gu Civil Affairs Division, and Kim Yu-gyeong of Indeogwon-dong. Three others received the "Civil Affairs Mileage" award: Seo Ji-yeon of Anyang 3-dong, Yun Eun-ju of the Environmental Policy Division, and Baek Min-ju of the Dongan-gu Civil Affairs Division.

Anyang Mayor Choi Dae-ho joined senior officials and the six honorees at the meeting, held on the third floor of City Hall, where participants shared firsthand experiences from the field.

Attendees spoke candidly about the challenges they face in handling public complaints and discussed a range of improvements to raise citizen satisfaction.

"The kindness and dedication of civil servants who think one step further from the citizen's perspective and carry out their duties responsibly are the driving force behind building public trust in our administration," Mayor Choi said.
