365 Daum Clinic redesignated as a Dalbit Children's Hospital, continuing operations until midnight year-round — alongside Woori Ayi Ansim clinics and hospitals to maintain a comprehensive after-hours pediatric care network
Seoul's Seongdong-gu said it has redesignated 365 Daum Clinic as a Dalbit Children's Hospital to ensure children can receive medical care at a nearby facility during evenings and holidays, maintaining a stable after-hours pediatric care system in the district.
The Dalbit Children's Hospital designation applies to medical facilities that remain open to treat children with minor ailments during weekday evenings, weekends and public holidays — hours when regular clinics are typically closed.
The newly redesignated 365 Daum Clinic, located at 17 Wangsimni Gwangjang-ro, was first designated as a Dalbit Children's Hospital in 2024 and has since treated pediatric patients until midnight on weekdays, weekends and public holidays alike. Based on its track record of stable operations, the clinic has been redesignated and will continue operating under the program for two years, from this month through September 2028.
Seongdong-gu also redesignated Aideul Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Clinic, located at 234 Gosanja-ro, as a Woori Ayi Ansim ("Our Children's Safe") clinic last year. The facility sees patients until 9 p.m. on weekdays to help fill gaps in evening pediatric care.
Hanyang University Hospital has also been designated as a Woori Ayi Ansim hospital since last year, providing 24-hour emergency pediatric care at a hospital-level facility.
With the latest redesignation, Seongdong-gu said it will continue to maintain a comprehensive pediatric care network that allows child patients in the district to receive the treatment they need during evenings and holidays.
The district said the system is expected to ease the anxiety and inconvenience of parents by giving children with minor conditions access to nearby clinics, while also reducing the concentration of patients at large hospital emergency rooms — freeing those facilities to focus on critical cases.
Details on after-hours pediatric facilities, including Dalbit Children's Hospital locations and operating hours, are available on the Seongdong-gu Public Health Center website.
"It is important to create an environment where children can receive care nearby at any hour when they suddenly fall ill," Seongdong-gu District Mayor Yoo Bo-hwa said. "We will continue to fill the gaps in evening and holiday pediatric care so that Seongdong-gu becomes a place where parents can raise their children with peace of mind."
