Ourhome opens second Take buffet in Jamsil, eyes 4 locations by year-end

Ourhome announced Friday that it has opened Take Jamsil, the second location of its buffet brand Take.

The new store, seating 240 and spanning 772 square meters, opened Friday on the third below-ground floor of Lotte World Adventure in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Lotte World Adventure connects directly to Jamsil Station on subway lines 2 and 8, offering convenient access for visitors.

To mark the opening at Lotte World Adventure, Take is running a collaboration with Bellygom, a character from Lotte Home Shopping. The partnership features special menu items in Bellygom's signature pink color, along with customer events including a stamp tour and photo zones.

"With plenty of attractions such as rides, an ice rink and parades, we expect a wide range of customers — from families to foreign tourists — to visit," an Ourhome official said.

Take opened its first location near Jonggak Station in Jongno-gu in May. The store drew strong demand from the start, with lunch and dinner reservations selling out during peak hours and walk-in queues forming regularly. According to Ourhome, cumulative visitors to the first location surpassed 100,000 last month.

The company plans to open two more stores before the end of the year. A third location, with 290 seats across 997 square meters, is set to open in November at Y-Square in Mia Sageori, Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. A fourth, with 290 seats across 957 square meters, is planned for December at Hyundai Outlet Dongdaemun in Jung-gu, Seoul.

"We will open the third and fourth locations this year and accelerate our expansion by leading with Take's diverse menu offerings and content," an Ourhome official said.
