The Incheon Tourism Organization is ramping up its special-interest tourism push in the sports sector, using an international mixed martial arts event to capitalize on the Chinese National Day holiday travel surge.
The organization announced Friday that it will pursue a stay-based tourism promotion policy tied to "2026 World Goodfighters 03," a multi-sport event running Sunday and Monday at Incheon Sangsang Platform.
The main draw is a professional MMA showdown pitting South Korean and Chinese fighters against each other in a contest of national pride.
Sunday's program features a South Korea-China pro MMA national team bout, promising an intense head-to-head competition between the two countries, along with a variety of performance stages.
On Monday, the Goodfighters ALLFC World Championship takes center stage alongside a youth competition open to young fighters aspiring to professional careers.
On-site activities include a fighter experience zone, a punch-strength contest and a martial arts class, giving visitors a hands-on way to engage with the sport. K-food stalls and an official merchandise booth will also be available.
Admission is free and open to all residents and tourists, with no advance registration required.
