Company debuts 'Heated Humidifier 6.0' and 'Multi Heater' for the cold season
Winix, known primarily for its summer home appliances, has unveiled two new winter products: a humidifier and a heater.
The Olbareun Heated Humidifier 6.0 is a domestically produced heated humidifier with a 6-liter large-capacity water tank and a top-fill design for added convenience. It can begin humidifying within 90 seconds. The company said the heating element and water tank are separately designed so that only the minimum amount of water needed for humidification is heated — rather than the entire tank — improving energy efficiency and safety. It added that 304 stainless steel and BPA-free materials were used to ensure safe use in high-temperature environments.
The Multi Heater is a compact unit that can be used in two configurations: a no-drill wall mount or a tabletop stand. Winix said it was designed for use across a variety of living spaces, including bathrooms, bedrooms and living rooms. The product uses flame-retardant materials suited for high-temperature environments, and an automatic five-minute fan mode activates after heating ends to cool the internal components.
"We will expand our product lineup beyond summer seasonal appliances into the winter season to meet consumers' diverse lifestyle needs and seasonal demand," a company official said.
