JW Lifestyle Health, an affiliate of JW Pharmaceutical, has launched Dr. Claro Medisca Gel, a topical scar care product.
The gel is a class 2 medical device — classified as a topical hydrogel wound dressing — designed to manage hypertrophic and keloid scars caused by burns, surgery or trauma. It contains silicone and D-panthenol, ingredients that protect scar tissue and support the healing of closed wounds.
The company said the product is safe for the whole family, from children to adults. Its lightweight gel texture absorbs cleanly into the skin, and it can be applied for targeted care on both small and large scar areas, the company added.
"It dries quickly with minimal stickiness, and makeup can be applied over it after use, reducing the inconvenience of managing scars in daily life," a JW Lifestyle Health official said. "We will continue to deliver safe medical devices that the whole family can trust."
