Son Heung-min of LAFC will start against Venezuela on Friday, with a chance to set a new all-time South Korea scoring record with his 59th international goal.
South Korea, coached by Roberto Moreno, hosts Venezuela in a friendly at Ulsan Munsu Football Stadium at 8 p.m.
Son's name appeared on the starting lineup released about an hour before kickoff.
Son has scored in each of his last two appearances. He netted his 57th goal with a direct free kick in a 3-0 win over Ecuador, then added his 58th as a consolation in a 1-4 loss to Uruguay.
One more goal would take him past former manager Cha Bum-kun and give him the all-time South Korea scoring record outright.
Oh Hyeon-gyu of Besiktas will partner Son up front for the third consecutive match.
Hwang In-beom of Porto, who had been left out of the previous two squads to recover, returns to start in midfield alongside Park Jin-seop of Zhejiang. Kim Min-su of Rangers and Lee Kang-in of Atletico Madrid are deployed on the left and right wings, respectively.
The back four consists of Kim Min-jae of Bayern Munich, Lee Han-beom of Club Brugge, Jo Hyeon-taek of Ulsan and Seol Young-woo of Augsburg, with Song Beom-geun of Jeonbuk starting in goal.
It will be Song's first start under Moreno. Kim Seung-gyu of Tokyo had started in goal in each of the previous two matches.
