The Lotte Championship on the LPGA Tour will move to Kapalua Resort in Maui, Hawaii, beginning in 2027.
The LPGA Tour announced that the 15th edition of the Lotte Championship, carrying a purse of $3 million, will be held March 18-21 at the Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort.
The Lotte Championship launched in 2012 at Ko Olina Golf Club in Hawaii and moved to Hoakalei Country Club in 2022 before relocating to Kapalua in 2027. The tournament will follow the newly created Nanea Cup, giving the LPGA Tour back-to-back events in Hawaii that year.
The Plantation Course hosted the PGA Tour's Sentry Championship from 1999 through 2025. Kapalua Resort previously staged the LPGA Tour's Kapalua Classic in 2008, when Morgan Pressel of the United States won the title at the Bay Course.
LPGA Commissioner Craig Kessler said it was deeply meaningful to bring the Lotte Championship to the storied Plantation Course at Kapalua Resort. "We look forward to continuing the success of the Lotte Championship on the new stage of Maui," he added.
Allison Kopuz, an LPGA Tour player from Hawaii, said Kapalua was a perfect setting to showcase the beauty and charm of the islands. "I'm looking forward to competing here and sharing that with fans from home," she said.
