North Gyeongsang Technopark holds accelerating demo day for regional startups

North Gyeongsang Technopark held an accelerating program demo day Friday at the Daegu Marriott Hotel as part of its 2026 North Gyeongsang Regional Enterprise Growth Ladder support project.

The accelerating program was designed to strengthen participating companies' commercialization and investment-attraction capabilities. It offered startup and investment education, customized consulting for each company, and investor relations demo days in a phased format.

At the demo day, eight participating companies delivered investor relations presentations to investors and industry officials, introducing their technologies, business models, market entry strategies and growth plans.

Following the presentations, companies held one-on-one investment consultations with participating investment institutions to review investment prospects and exchange views on business and fundraising strategies.

Four companies were recognized as outstanding performers through an evaluation of the investor relations presentations, receiving grand prize, excellence award and merit award honors.

North Gyeongsang Technopark plans to run a follow-up investment review round for the award-winning companies, supporting them through private pitches, in-depth question-and-answer sessions, follow-up meetings, investment term discussions and due diligence referrals to help move them toward actual investment decisions.

In December, the organization also plans to hold a networking and exchange program among participating companies to expand collaboration opportunities and create a forum for sharing investment and commercialization experience with senior companies and investors.
