Actor Han Da-gam, 46, shares tense moments from childbirth: 'I'm your mom'

Actor Han Da-gam, 46, is set to share the tense moments surrounding the birth of her son on Sept. 22.

The delivery and her first encounter with her son, nicknamed "Chalddeokie," will be featured on Wednesday's episode of KBS 2TV's "Superman Is Back," according to the Dong-A Ilbo.

In the episode, Han is shown visibly anxious ahead of the procedure, saying fetal movement had decreased on Tuesday and Wednesday. The tension continues as she undergoes surgery and expresses pain.

When her son's cry is finally heard, Han's face relaxes with relief. Seeing her child for the first time, she tears up and says, "I'm your mom."

Kim Jong-min, who was watching, shared in the anxiety. He was seen pacing nervously during the surgery, muttering that he was going out of his mind, before tearing up at the moment Han met her newborn.

Han was born in September 1980, making her 46 years old. The show has introduced her as the oldest celebrity mother in its history at 47 by Korean age reckoning. She married a non-celebrity businessman one year her senior in 2020, and announced her pregnancy last April — six years into their marriage.
