The Incheon Environmental Corporation has again demonstrated world-class water quality analysis capabilities.
The corporation's Environmental Research Institute announced Wednesday that it received the top "Laboratory of Excellence" rating from the US-based Environment Resource Associates (ERA) in its international water quality proficiency assessment.
ERA, which holds ISO/IEC 17043 certification, is an international accreditation body that annually evaluates the precision and credibility of measurements made by environmental testing and inspection institutions around the world.
In this year's assessment, the corporation received "Satisfactory" ratings across all five key water quality indicators: biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), total organic carbon (TOC), suspended solids (SS), total nitrogen (T-N) and total phosphorus (T-P).
The corporation has undergone regular verification by the National Institute of Environmental Research under the Ministry of Environment. It has now earned ERA's top rating for two consecutive years — 2025 and 2026 — further solidifying the credibility of its water quality data both domestically and internationally.
