SK Broadband will offer its IPTV subscription customers the chance to attend the KBO Korean Series in person.
The company announced Thursday that it will hold a ticket giveaway event for subscribers of its B tv+ and B tv+ max plans through Oct. 25, offering seats to the 2026 KBO Korean Series.
The event is part of the "B tv+ max Festival," an initiative designed to give subscribers not only streaming content but also real-world, offline experiences.
SK Broadband will give away two tickets per winner to five subscribers for each game from Game 2 through Game 7 of the Korean Series, for a maximum of 60 tickets in total. For customers who prefer to watch from home, the company will also raffle off 100 Naver Pay gift vouchers worth 30,000 won ($22) each.
Subscribers who wish to enter can visit the B tv+ max Festival page within the B tv app and select their preferred game and prize. They then install the mobile B tv app on a smartphone or tablet and link it to their set-top box to complete their entry.
Entrants may choose between the in-person ticket or the Naver Pay gift voucher. Winners will be announced Oct. 28 on the B World website.
SK Broadband has run a series of subscriber events this year, including giveaways for the 2026 KBO All-Star Game and a KBS Chuseok special concert by Lee Seung-cheol. Last month, it also offered in-person tickets covering games from the wild-card round through Game 1 of the Korean Series.
The company has served as an official sponsor of the KBO postseason for two consecutive years since last year, steadily expanding subscriber perks tied to professional baseball.
"The satisfaction of a subscription our customers have chosen grows even greater when they feel it directly in their everyday lives," said Park Cham-sol, SK Broadband's platform director. "Just as we have done with this Korean Series — adding the thrill of watching live at the stadium and the joy of cheering from home — we will continue to deliver differentiated B tv experiences through the B tv+ max Festival."
SK Broadband launched B tv+ max in July, an integrated subscription plan that builds on its existing B tv+ monthly service by adding content from the three major terrestrial broadcasters. The plan offers more than 300,000 titles — including films, drama series and variety shows from KBS, MBC and SBS — along with 255 live channels. It also supports a feature that lets viewers continue watching on the mobile B tv app content they started on their television.
